See attached screenshots. I will provide example pbix by mail. Lock is set to ANY/OR and Lock_Category_Components and Always_lock seem to lock subtotals when used individually but not together. Non writable style is not applied and it’s possible to enter a value and have it visually propagated to lowest level cells – however, nothing is saved to database so lock on lowest level cell is working.

Also, writable style is always applied to labels at a higher level of hierarchy.
